We had SOOOOO much fun with my parents! I was so happy they were able to take 5 whole days out of their busy schedule to come visit us. I didn't think we were ever going to get my parents to come out! My dad said that Houston isn't a vacation spot... haha But he was actually impressed. Especially going to Red Mango and Rudy's a few times! Thanks for such a fun week mom and dad! Miss you already!!

Pretty much the WHOLE reason my mom came out to see us! Red Mango is just a 5 minute walk from our house. Just over the waterway bridge and across the street!

And pretty much the whole reason my dad came to visit us!!

{Houston Rodeo}
Dad was REALLY excited about his giant turkey leg!!! yuck...

My cute mom and I!!

The Mutton Bustin'!! Our kids are SOOO doing this! It was so funny to see these kids hold on for dear life!!

Blake Shelton put on a pretty good concert after the rodeo!

And... The best part about the Houston Rodeo!! Check out that guy's pony tail... Awesome!!

{NASA!}
There were a few things on my dad's list while he was here in Houston and NASA was at the top. It was pretty cool, I like to look at the pictures and the cool space things and move on... my dad on the other hand has to READ EVERY SINGLE word! Which is probably why he is so smart! haha But it really was a lot of fun!

Not sure what dad was doing here!!

The Rockets...

This thing was just chillin across the street from the NASA buildings. Pretty crazy huh!?!?!

We went to dinner with the Dickamores, Bangerters and my parents! Tony and Tami had to bail a bit early, so they missed out on the picture!
{Our 1st Houston Rodeo & Tim Mcgraw baby!!}
Brandon and April took us to our first Texas Rodeo! It was huge! It was at the Reliant Stadium where the Texans play. I'm used to the little Utah rodeos, but man... this was amazing! There was a celebrity almost every night that performed after each rodeo! We had so much fun and ate soooo much crap! Thanks guys!

We LOVED Tim Mcgraw... seriously one of the best concerts I have been to!

{ Colby's birthday and a cute visitor for the night!! }
We wanted to try something new for dinner, so for Colby's birthday we went to a super yummy Italian place called Grotto's in Market Street. Market Street has a ton of awesome little shops {expensive shops!}, restaurants and our favorite little movie theater.
Birthday boy was SOOOOO excited! haha

So... Back in February one of my best friends Dakota had a few business meetings in Houston! So of course I was all over that and took advantage of every minute she was here! I picked her up from the airport and showed her around The Woodlands and where we live. It was so fun to have my friend here to see everything! Colb met us for dinner and I ended up staying at the hotel with Dakota. Poor girl had to get up early the next morning for meetings and we stayed up talking until about 3 or 4 in the morning! I was SOOO happy she had time to hang out with us! Love you girl!
